Yes, for sure, I lowered my forks too until I put the fatbob trees on my street bob

If you also plan on wiring them internally then go for the 1.25" bars. I just did some for my 1" drag bars, and they where a pain to do especially if you want to use the existing cable tubing. It basically shredded parts of it and luckily my friend hooked me up with some cable mesh tubing to hide all of that nastyness.

um no..you can't use an 1.25" bar in a standard street bob triple tree that has th intergrated risers unless that bar is stepped down to 1.000" to fit the clamps
just to let you know I have a set of 1.25 bars they are stepped down for the clamp but the bars hit the caps on the top tree

Yes it's common practice to let the forks sit down just a touch lower in the trees so that they clear the caps than it will be all good !

I have 16"x1.25" apes on my stock 2006 SB risers and they have a step down on them..... absolutely love em, they match right with the 49mm front end and ive never had a problem with them. I got them off eBay for $109.99
