What will a Power commander do for me?

since its an 09 i'm hoping its under warranty! I dont have any of the paperwork from the lady I bought it from so I don't know what month she bought it.... keeping my fingers crossed! gonna call her tomorrow and try to find out. i'll put the volt meter on it tomorrow with and without the cable attached and see what I get. should I also try it with the key on? i'll try to crank it and see what it reads if it starts. i should have pulled the battery off and charged it overnight and see if it started good with it fully charged, if it would even charge up. if it's bad It won't charge i don't think.
