To me the twin heads lights were the seller he'll that's what drew me to my first bike a 900 triumph daytona, but I will be changing the rear fender. If you are looking at getting a fat bob any HD dealer worth buying from will throw in a 103 kit otherwise they will never sell left over 11's
Everyone I ride with has Soft-Tail tour bikes. I'm the only one that rides a Fat Bob in a group of Street-Glides and Road-Kings. My freinds all tell me they miss their old Dynas for handling reasons. Makes me feel better about my mount but I wouldn't mind having a batwing fairing and sound system for long hauls. Plus none of those riders complaint about having a sore *** after a three hour ride.
yeah, it definitely depends on what you think your riding style will be.
both bikes handle great in my opinion.
If you think you'll end up riding on long trips, and don't want a touring bike, go with the fatty.
if you just want to carve up the back roads, get the bob. I think it handles curves better at a faster speed, but just bustin around town the fatty handles like a dream to me....better than my FXD, even with good tires.
these two models probably narrow the gap between dyna and softail closer than any other...so definitely a tough call.
Love the dyna shake, and they just seem more responsive twisting the throttle.
To me the fatboy is more comfy though on those long hauls.
you really can't go too wrong, so just ride the **** out of whichever one you get.
i just bought a new fat bob and what made me go for the bob was the dule front brakes and 103 engine ,none of the other dynas had the 103.and i love the dule head lights.now what slip on do i get ,want to hear the engine .and this is my 53ed bike.i love it.
