spitting oil
check out your breather hoses, lengthen or replace like mentioned above. seeping is one thing (mine did it when new) but running down your engine is another. aftermarket a/c's (ie: arlen ness big sucker or similar style) will eliminate the hoses altogether.
My Dyna is doing the exact same thing and it does look like the oil has been overfilled. The mechanic did say that he thought my stock air cleaner needed to be upgraded. Said something about it choking because of insufficient air. I wasn't sure if he was trying to up-sell me.
I just got an oil change and asked them to leave the air cleaner alone for now, especially if the issue was due to too much oil. Funnily enough from a recent dipstick test it seems they went and overfilled it again. Hot temp, its over the full mark, and at cool temp, its right at the full mark (!!).
Does the increased summer heat exacerbate the issue? My bike never had issues with spitting out oil through the air cleaner during the cooler weather earlier this year.
