Earlier this week I got back from a short ride to find out that 4 of the 5 bolts in my pulley on my rear wheel sheared off, so yesterday I took off the wheel to try to fix it but found a lot more damage than I expected. Not only did the bolts shear off in the hole my hub was bent on that side along with my pulley being cracked. So my question will Street Bob rims from 08+ work on my bike? Or did HD change them?

 

In 08 they changed from 1" axle to a 25mm axle so you would need to either change the bearings to 1" or get a 25mm axle

 

Here is your chance to put on a 16 inch and have wide white walls if that is your thing. You could try to find another hub and relace it. It is really not that hard to do and then have a local indie true it. It might be a lot less hassle to just get one from the forum classified or eBay. Also correct on the 08 and newer running 25mm bearings and axle. Just a few thoughts, hope one of them helps..............
