My son has Bub Jug Huggers with thunder baffles on his 04 Fatboy and while a tad loud for me when I'm behind him - which is rarely, and never for long - they actually sound really nice. Loud and edgey. He did a lot of research before he settled on those... and he can never resist twisting the throttle whenever we cruise through an underpass... (damm kids)!
IMO, compared to the fit and finish of "similar" styled V&Hs, the Bubs are way superior. They "look" heavier and of better construction. Again, they also seem louder. They are peaceable at idle but are definitely louder with throttle applied - compared to my wife's SEII Slip-ons on her FXST (which don't sound too awful either - to me the SEIIs are moderate and punchy at throttle). Now why exactly is it that my Ultra is the only scoot in the garage with stock pipes and mufflers? Something seriously wrong.
If you like the looks, you'll most likely appreciate the rest of the pipe from form to finish to sound. Of the nearly 300 pictures stored on this computer that were taken this summer before, during, and after our Sturgis run, this is the only one that shows the "right" side of the bike... unbelieveable.

Perhaps it'll at least give you an approximate visual.
