Default what size cables

i am helping my son install santee bonanza II 13" narrow bars and using original risers on his 2007 FXD. he got 6" over for throttle and clutch cables and 50" brake line. the brake line is way to long so we are exchanging it for 46"; the clutch cable seems to short, should we try 8" over; and the throttle cables seem a little long but should be ok or would 4" over be enough.

I'm using stock street bob cables all the way around for 15" bonanza's. If you can get some take offs here on the forum it may save you guys a few bucks otherwise if you had to buy them you can try gauging them off the SB cables. The only thing I had to do is move the clutch cable to the right down tube, take out the 90 degree bend out of the throttle cable. Sorry I don't have measurements, but hopefully this helps.

Thanks for info and photos, kept the 60" throttle cable, exchanged brake for 48" and clutch cable 8" over. Adding signal relocation kit

Were you sure the stock cables were too short?

Some of those cables lengths you mentioned were more inline with if you were doing a 16" ape install.

Looks good, but you should tilt those badboys forward.

Tilted them forward. cables are a little long, but might be changing out the risers so cables will work out.

Cables are just the right size, switched out the stock risers for chrome 3.5" risers today. Then added a 17" Memphis fats detachable wind shied.
