I recently bought a 2011 FXDWG and want to get a race tuner for it, along with new pipes and air kit.
is the SERT Kit 32109-08B the right kit for my bike? From what I've read it's for 01' and later models. To me, 01'l later would not include bikes made 2002 to 2011...am I wrong?
I am not sure why everyone calls it a sert? (Screaming Eagle Race Tuner I am guessing) but its actually a screaming eagle super tuner pro if I am not mistaken. BTW I have the same bike and have the exact kit your speaking of it is indeed the 32109-08B.
If you do go to a dealer for your dyno-tune, make sure they actually tune the bike and not just throw a base map in there.
I remember contacting my local dealer about a dyno-tune after I did my cams. The price was fair, but they told me I would not be allowed to the dyno while they were tuning it. That left me feeling uneasy and went some place else.
I had the SERT done with slip ons and the Ventilator AC. No dyno. It was done by an experienced tech though. Running well the last 2300 miles. Running much better than stock.

So, all you had done is the software installed with a base map. Not sure I can see why you'd do that. The idea is that the stock bikes run way too lean and to install some type of tuner allows you the ability to rectify that. 14.6/14.7AFR is way too lean. You want it somewhere around 13.0-13.5AFR. I highly doubt a base map would get you there.

Actually the stage-1 map (176AF106.dt0) is pretty good. AFRs are set for performance, with AFRs between 12.5 and 13.2 in open loop. Needs a tweak to closed-loop in the CLB tables just to cool the engine but otherwise its good.
