Default Flush mount fuel cap trim.

Ok so i have the flush mount fuel cap kit from harley. Today i notice it was not secure so i figured i would ride to the part store and get more double sidded tap. When i got there i noticed it was to late it had fallen off during the ride. I looked high and low cant find it so I would like to know does anyone know where i can get just the trim ring for fuel cap harley flush mount kit?

If you still have the install sheet from the kit, you will find a list of "service parts" that are available from the MoCo. Otherwise, look up your specific cap/gauge kit # from the HD P&A online catalog, then refer to the attached thumbnails for the appropriate chrome/black trim ring. Hope that helps.

O-town D : nice fatbob. really sharp looking. thanks for the information. I was thinking about buying one of these kits as well. Nice to know you can do something other than buy the whole thing all over again.

Thx for the comment. And welcome back - hope you had a great ride to Oregon and that your friend is doing better.

I don't know about that...it says that the gauge assembly includes parts 1 to 4 and then it states "Not sold seperately".

Mine quit reading years ago...when it was still pretty new. The wires aren't even hooked up now and I just use the odometer for fill-ups.
