Stumbled on the highway

On my way into work tonite was running around 65mph and my WG seemed to stumble or hesitate. Even had what seemed like a minor backfire! I slowed and down shifted to 4th and it didnt do it. Went back to 65 and 5th and it started it again. It didnt do it all the time but once in a while. When I got on the Navy base in 3rd it didnt do it at all. Any ideas or help will be appreciated. thanks Ed

did you change your pipes and a/c and FI management system? If so what did you add?

Sorry, I forgot to mention stage 1 with SE 16Gage Dble barrels and rejetted carb. Has been running great up untill last nite. Dont know if I had some dirt in the gas or what. Had filled the tank at a Shell station couple days before. Thanks, Ed

I would check the codes as well....if nothing, I would be bad gas.
