Default What is this wire?

What is the wire coming out of the front of the motor next to the oil filter on the right side of a 103 Dyna? I know it's a stupid new guy question, but please help a guy out. Just bought the bike a few days ago and there is a large stain already from seeping oil. There is probably a little over 1/4 inch of thread sticking out of the motor. Perhaps it is not torqued in tight...

On the right front crankcase, next to the oil filter mount, is a wire plug that is attached to the oil pressure switch, which may need to be tightened up a tad if it's seeping oil. On the left front of the crankcase, next to the oil filter, is the crank position sensor (secured by an allen bolt), and below that the regulator wires secured by a rubber plug. Since the bike is under warranty you may want to pay a visit to your dealer to have the leak attended to.
