So I am wondering what you think. Also I want to add the quarter fairing and am about to get some loner risers. what size do you think. Would 6" black risers look dumb with these bars on top?
I don't think risers would look bad at all I actually think it may look better IMO. They also look nice the way they are not exactly my taste but it does not look bad by any means but black risers would look real nice. New mirrors would probably help the most those things got to go, sorry just to big on those bars! Get some smaller style one in black and it would be killer.
sort of cumfy. I really like the clip on feel. but i have a bad back and i need them closer to me. the pull back is not the greatest on the bars.
I had these bars lying around for a while from a wrecked bike I had before so I thought to give them a try. they just need something to make them pop. I know I need to get rid of the mirrors and relocate the turn signals. I just put them on to see how I like them.
I do like the bars a lot though just need to find the right look to make them work. and I am thinking raise them. they handle great though. you can really feel the road and turns with these. I ride through turns much faster with this set up. Some how makes me more confidant
or maybe I just go 6" risers with a nice drag bar with good amount of pullback on the bar
Gartec...there are many a thing that each of us will do to accessorize our bike...
We all know this.
Hell, HD makes somthing like 80% of their total income from accessories alone! (parts, accessories, apparel, etc)
But of all the bikes I've had, and all the riding I've done...at the end of the day, the looks vs. comfort battle has had and will continue to have the same score:
-Comfort trumps looks!
And bars, seats and shocks are (just my opinion...) the big 3 of that category...
Said another way, be comfy ma' man, especially with a bad back!
If you could find some risers that move the bars toward the rear a bit, that may help...
