I've always had a problem with my hands going numb, I doubt it's my poly riser bushings but I may go back to rubber just to see if it helps it's a pretty easy swap.I think in my case it's just poor circulation my hands go numb on my cafe racer clubmans and on my Harley with the Switchback bars.

I went back to rubber bushings. Much better... I can use my mirrors now. The handle bar vibes are gone. My opinion is that with low bars the rubber bushings are better. They absorb the vibes. Probably with apes you would be better off with the poly because the rubber bushings would flex with added leverage of the taller bars...

I've used poly bushings on all my bikes, no problems.
Of course all of them did have taller bars.

i just installed new poly bushings this weekend because my big issue is i did not like the bars moving when i pushed the bike or pulled it i just didnt feel comfortable with the movement and i went to the polys did not notice much as in vibrations but i did notice the mirrors were hard to see out of now so i think im going to find a way to rubber mount those

or you could do what I did when I installed my t-bars... just tighten the crap out of the stock rubber bushings. They'll become real solid like after that. Mine have no play in them at all.

the only issue with that is you run the risk of pulling the threads on the risers or cracking the the bars
