Cat confirmation please

I am so confused, my noggin is throwing blanks so please cut me some slack on this hashed over topic.

Can someone confirm please.....that a 2011 Dyna Super Glide FXDC has the CAT in the muffler(s)?

If the cat IS in the muffler portion.....replacing the stock mufflers with a "slip-on" variety WOULD effectively end the CAT situation right?

the cat is in the muffler, not the header pipe. if you replace the muffler with a slip-on there will be no cat unless the new muffler has them

on the 2011 wide glide the cat is built into the cross over pipe just before the muffler or atleast was on mine you should be able to look under the sheilds or remove your mufflers and look in your pipe to verify .

This style exhaust has the cat in the muffler....

This style has it in the head pipe.....

i read that but thought the exhaust was the same except where the controls are . those mufflers sounds good when cleaned out or they do on my wifes 1200 custom
