Default Reversing shocks ?

Ok, yet another Shock ?....
I like the various Shocks that have the external gas cylinder on the outside....Not sure of the proper term....
Anyway, I have Hard Bags on my bike, so I was wondering, could the Shocks be reversed so that external cylinder is facing forward instead of towards the back of the bike....
This would require putting the left on the right and the right on the left....
Set up like this would the Shocks work the same....?
Thanks for the serious replys and yes the others as well....

Absolutely fine. Only restriction is on putting shocks on upside down, which is a no-no for a lot of shocks.

Nott sure about mounting the piggy back shock reservoir upside down but it can be mounted in a reverse position facing left or right (fore or aft)

I agree it is probably OK, but you could contact your preferred brand, to get their advice.

It is ok...I have Ohlins with the external reservoir facing forward, no problems.
