After 1 full month of research, I had decided upon the Corbin Gunfighter. I emailed them a couple of times, never got a response. Between that and all I hear about their poor customer service, I have no faith in buying anything from them. And I still really want the seat

Their customer service is the worst, even worse than Progressive, order online and its pretty efficient though....just don't let them involve humans in the process and it will be fine.

Some of these companies you just have to call them insted of email. I wouldnt let that turn you off Corbin especialy if you want the seat. They are very well made, and will probably last as long your bike does.
Id love to get a Hollywood solo in baby gator, but spent my money on a fuel moto efi tuner, and my next $300 will probably go to a burley slammer kit, but if I ever do get an aftermarket seat it will be a corbin for sure.

Calling is definitely the way to go. I went in to get my seat fabbed at the shop in Hollister and they offered to mail my stock seat home. They forgot to mail my seat and after one quick call, they expressed it to my house. I'm sorry to hear that others have had poor service.
The three seats that I have bought from them were all perfect and with the last one they called to make sure that I got it and was happy with it. Corbin has always been a great vendor for me.
I have a hollywood solo on my ride at the moment. I absolutely love it. It does take some getting used to a firmer seat, but once it's broken in, the quality is unmatched. I'm fortunate enough to live a few hours from the Hollister factory and had the seat shaped for me. I'm not sure how the mail order seat will fit for you, but I say go for it.
I'm planning on taking a trip up there. From what I here its the only way to get the most for your $. And it doesnt cost anymore for them to custom fit it to you. The part I dont like is 200.00 for a back rest!

I did call and was glad I did... they told me their seats won't fit with my chrome console. They could make one for me if I could get my bike to Florida... which of course I can't do, that's half way across the country. Oh well.
