I tightened up the rear suspension three clicks because I am around 240 lbs and my wife is about the same. On my 2005 FXDI (Dyna Super Glide) how do I make the front end not dive so bad? I read my manual and it says to tighten the bolts on top, but the only ones I see are the main shock heads.
I see the screws in the bottom to adjust dampning but nothing else.
Thanks
p.s. This was posted in the suspension section but I have not recieved and replies!
The manual is referring to DYNA SPORT models, they have adjustable suspension. If you want it tighter, you have to change out the springs.[&o] Progressive makes a set, they lower the front 1 inch, but I don't know if they tighten it up though. Sorry I can help more. Talk to your dealer, or the HOG club....
You can get a stiffer front end by draining out the stock oil and replacing it with a heavier grade. This will stiffen up the dampining but will not change the spring rate.
