Dennis Kirk will beat any advertised price by $1. Free shipping too. I would spend a few more bucks for avon or metzelers though. Two wheeler tires are kinda important with regards to stopping, going, cornering, load ratings.

Someone on here had this brand up front on a 21" wheel and the tire expanded over 60 or 70 mph and rubbed his fender and jacked up the tire. With the stock 19 your should be fine, but I would rather not have a tire with that much movement.

I remember 25 plus years ago when Cheng Shin came out with a Metzeler copy for a fraction of the price. I was racing desert and thought that I'd save some money on tires. I couldn't see how they could be much different as they looked identical.

The difference was incredible! I found myself in the bottom of a huge and steep loose sandy hill and couldn't climb it, it was like this tire, with less than 10 miles on it, had no ***** on it, zero traction.

Fortunately, this wasn't a race, but my riding buddies left me there and didn't notice that I was missing. It took me 5 to 10 minutes to finally climb up out of that dune.

That tire came off as soon as got home.

Since that experience, I stopped buying cheap tires. You'd think that a brand new knobby tire would be as good as a half worn knobby tire, no matter what brands you are comparing. My Cheng Shin experience proved otherwise.

On pavement, the difference between traction and no traction is a bit more crucial. I'd stick to the tires that have a proven record, no matter what they cost.

Don't accept advice from limp wristed newbies either, listen to the guys that know how to wick the throttle and actually take their bikes to the limits of traction. Everybody has an opinion, but not everyone should be voicing their opinions on subjects that they know so little about.

Another vote for Avons, been using them since the 70s. There seems to be recent enthusiasm growing for Pirelli, so with those two plus Metzeler, you have a decent choice!

Look at Kenda tires, they have been around a while... the Kenda Kruz has good tread...I personally like a more "BRAND" name... I had IRC tires on my whifes Volusia 800 we had put about 2500 miles on a set and they handled great and still looked like new??? Suzuki uses IRC on several bikes and they seem to so well...Never used Shinko , Depends how bad i had to save money i guess....lot's of people use them. I still consider them "Generic"...

You get what you pay for. That being said, you bought a harley and they are expensive and heavy so don't drop the ball on cheap tires.

Two things I don't scrimp on are tires and brake pads. Replaced my stock Dunlops with Avons, the difference is night and day. And it looks like I'll get at least 2000 more miles on the rear rubber than the stocker.
