WOW. That seat was on my short list until I saw this post. Shame cause it sure is a good lookin seat. Guess I'll be lookin at a Danny Gray or a lepara.
I have been looking to change out the stock seat for a while now. Thought I had it narrowed down to a C&C Sport Tour. Now I'm not so sure.
As with anything some have had issues with products... Myself i have the fastback and the sporttour which i put on when the ole lady rides with on long distance.. they both fit fine and are comfortable.

I concur. Even after reading this thread and seeing the pics I'm still gonna pull the trigger on a Sport Tour this week. C&C has a great reputation for making a great product at an unbeatable price. I've seen some pics of the Danny Gray seats that don't fit perfect either and they want over $200 more for their seats...
After reading just about every seat thread I could find on here, ( and there are more than a few). Turns out the majority are definitely positive on C&C. Fit, comfort, and customer service. Looks like all I have to do now is shoot the lock off my wallet.
Sounds like C&C is not going to fix the mold/design for a better fit. That parallels my experience with them when I was looking at getting a touring seat for my Ultra. I asked Chuck if they would modify the seat and move me closer to the bars; and he said they could but it would be an additional $175. He said they wouldn't modify the seat pan so he didn't think I'd be happy with it. I appreciated his honesty, and then decided to get a Corbin Close Dual Touring seat that I'm very pleased with. Also have a Corbin Solo as well as a Dual Tourer for my '03 Low Rider - both fit well on that bike and are very comfortable as well.
I bought a C & C solo leather, very nice seat, but I could not get comfortable on it as a tend to want to sit further back on the seat. I called chuck and he explained that any solo always sits you further up. I sent mine back and Chuck exchanged it for a leather fastback..Very nice, very comfortable..Does it fit perfect? I don't know and don't really care..It feels good and I am sure looks good going down the road
Im thinking the seat pan just needs a little tweaking, Not sure of the material its made out of but if its plastic, a little heat with a heat gun and some weight on it might do the trick. Or just take a fat chick on a long weekend ride, that should do it!
