Well I heard back from Chuck and basically the only option he gave me was to return for a refund. I asked about doing an exchange but told me all seats come from the same mold and will fit the same way. I am a little disappointed but I took a couple second opinions on the seat and I'm going to keep it knowing its not perfect it still is a great seat. Not the support I was expecting after hearing so much positive feedback

Interesting......

Truth be told, would you have noticed if no one pointed it out? I wonder if there isn't some room for it to settle a bit over the battery box?

Honestly, not really. It didn't bother me until I saw your pic O.F. so I pulled the tag back out and its so questionable no one besides me will even notice it...I hope. Regardless I'm still happy and excited to use.

And that's all that matters.

Hmmm....I just got the same seat for my '11WG. Recieved it in the mail this week. It fits just fine. Comfy too!

Damn, spoke too soon. Just went and checked in the garage. There is a bit of a gap. Maybe it's an issue with the newer ones??? I'll be keeping it unless C&C sends me a new one to swap out. Damn.

Get enough of you WG guys to say something maybe they will change up their mold. But if you are happy with I guess it doesn't matter.

I had a gap on the one I had on my Dyna (Fat Bob). A huge gap. Just as the OP did, I called Chuck and they didn't give a ****. He said the same exact thing, that they all come from a mold (where they are made by Mexican workers who don't speak English -and I dont' want to hear **** about C&C being American made. The only American is Chuck, I'm sure a percentage of my money ended up down south), and they basically use the same exact mold for every dyna 06 and up. I returned it for a 20% restocking fee.

I had a previous c&c fastfack on my softail, which the tab in the front of the seat wouldn't fit in the bike frame, the angle was completely wrong. Chuck told me to bend it and take a grinder to it....my only other option was a refund minus 20% restocking fee. So I did what I had to do to make it fit.

This is not good. I thought C&C was quality all around, now I'm thinking the opposite...too bad.
