Really?? The Helibars I saw in the ad looked like they could be adjusted in about every way possible, I thought they could be at least used to determine a person's ideal rise and pull-back before ordering a set of smoother t-bars or whatever. They do look very expensive, though.

Thanks to all who have replied. I have been struggling to find the right set up. I have often considered the Street Slammers or the bars similar to the 883's that Hemi Orange is running, they come highly recommended by everyone who runs them. My problem is that I like to run them a little more narrow and unfortunately both sets are about 31" wide and stepped for handlebar controls which makes them impossible to cut narrower.

Dude the bars of an iron or a 48 are like 28" or 27.5". I just bought a set. Shaved a half inch off of each. Combine those with some 6,8, or 9.5" pullback risers and you"ll be good. The bars have about 4" of total rise and another 4" of pullback.

Bo,

that set up sounds like it has potential. Do you have any pictures of your ride. Were you able to run the wires internally? Do the bars have holes in them to attach the exterior wire clips?

Thanks

Sorry, I have no idea, but I can refer you to the site where I found the pictures. Unfortunately it is a Japanese site...

Best of luck/

Some crappy cell pics. Not worth running them internally. It's like 4" of bar. And I just use zip ties. I'm more of a function over looks type of guy. I shaved them a bit short and barely had room for the grips. So I would recommend leaving them stock length. Over all I'm happy. Might try out 8" risers. These are 6.5 from drag.

Have not put that many miles on it. It is comfortable. But I'm 6'2 and have never had any reach problems.
