Air cleaner question...
Is an old style football cleaner a direct bolt on to replace the Superglide teardrop style? I don't wanna lay out the cash just to find it won't fit. I would think it's a straight forward swp but want to be sure....I hate the teardrop. I want to run an S&S but can't find one for an EFI Dyna....and this seems like a cheap replacement if it'll work.

I like the looks of the round plate in the previous post better, but it's what i'm working with now.
Guess the only advantage is that it seems to have more surface area than the round breathers, but i would trade in a heartbeat.

You might find someone in the HDF classifieds to swap one with you. Lots of stock air cleaners laying around after breather mods. A few modded their air cleaners right away because they hated the "football". To each their own, eh?

Thanks bombay! I swear, I've searched their site half a dozen times and never saw that....
Clicker, I've seen the modded football and its some damn cool backyard fabbing (which I love), and looks good, but I ride in a lot of inclement weather and I'm not a fan of open element style cleaners. If someone's got an old football cleaner, complete, lying around...hit me up. I still wann get the S&S some day but the football will do while I recoup from the expense of my current mods.
