This winter I plan to do some performance up grades,I'm on a budget like most I really don't want to spend more than $2500 other than cams which direction should I go. I'm thinking SERT,SE254e cams,lifters and adj. push rods.Ideas please.

 

Are you planning to do the complimentary headwork? If not, then I don't see a reason for adj. pushrods.

If you're doing it later on, since you'll be pulling the heads off anyway you can do the adj rods then. Save you a lil coin now.

Also, if you do the work yourself there is no reason why your budget couldn't be cut in half. Cams are very simple.

 

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, get yourself a ThunderMax w/Autotune, you will thank yourself later when you make other mods. Dr V-Twin had a great price when I bought mine. Absolutely the best mod I have made.
