Just a suggestion but I would reove the U-Bolt and put either heat shrink tubing or something on the U-Bolt just in case you decide to reove it later. I assume the metal U-Bolt on the frame would leave some nasty marks.

Thanks, plan to do so, for now used electrical tape to protect frame, didn't crank down on the nuts.

Donnie, are you sure you aren't interested because YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE EVERY OTHER UPGRADE POSSIBLE? Seriously though, I think about putting a guard on my WG from time to time. The price is really not a problem and I love the idea of preventing any scratchage on the engine.
