After hearing several horror stories about people having their bike knocked over, I installed an engine guard. Now I don't even notice it and it seems just like part of the bike. This is the first one I have ever had and now will be standard on any other bikes I get.

I agree. It's like helmets and Harleys. There is no cool-looking solution. But like the crash bar, I like the protection the helmet offers.

I won't put hiway pegs on mine. I already installed mid-pegs and crash bar pegs would make eight. Might as well install full-length running boards.

Looks good. Why don't you throw me a high res copy of one of the new pictures and I'll finish that black sheep signature.
I took these two today, but lighting isn't really right:

Keith:

Did you have to make any adjustments to the forward controls to get them to clear the bars?

THANKS!

I put folding hi-way pegs on the insides of my guard and love them. So nice to pick your feet up on long stretches and relax a little.

Keith,
I have the exact same setup on my superglide and I love it. I did have a problem with the engine guard contacting the front fender when the forks hit bottom on a real bad bump. What I did was redrilled the front fenser and lowered it 1/2 an inch. BUT I live in New York where the roads suck, so you may never experience it. I also thought about another set of pegs, bit like someone said earlier....Fowards, Mids, and passenger already on......another set would be 8. Great looking bike....

Ride Safe.
