Just moved from Virginia to Arizona, and the freakin weather is incredible for riding. My S-bob is loving it as much as I am. The military has done me right this time!

I was stationed in Yuma from 00 - 04. Awesome weather in the winter, but as pococj said - post again in Aug. I think the average was 112 or 115. Make sure you keep your bike covered. The seat will be the first thing to dry up.
We only get 7 inches of rain a year in Mesa AZ so I must admit I don't ride in the rain if I can help it! I have to get up pretty early in the summer and head for higher elevation but I belive you can ride 340 days a year here. I had a softtail once but sitting in traffic on that oil bag in the summer was HELL!
Welcome to Arizona, where are you stationed? If your at Luke AFB here in the Phoenix area there is great riding even in the summer as the mountains are only a few miles away and there are some great rides to be had all over AZ. This is some of the most beautiful riding country in the USA as you will soon find out. We may suffer a little in the summer but it's worth it for the year around riding. Thank You for your service, my son has been in the USAF for 17 years and never has been able to get stationed back here.
