clutch interlocking switch
It's a sissy-switch to keep idiots safe from themselves. Kills the start circuit unless the switch is made by having the clutch lever pulled in. They're new on HDs and can be easily bypassed. Best place to do so is at a terminal block where you can move a wire to bypass the wires going to/from the switch.
Don't know of any cars, trucks, or tractors that don't have the "sissy-switch" installed. It really won't hurt anything but the rider to disconnect it, but the rider (if he is an idiot).
Of course, if he unhooks it, an sees his nuetral light on, doesn't pull the clutch in, and runs over himself, because he thinks he outa gear, he'll feel like an idiot. LOL
