You can use either a 12" version, (p/n given above) or a 13" version (54565-09) but whichever you choose make sure to get the 2009 version so you have the option of adding more air, probably 20-25 is plenty though.
Does air shock have better ride over the stock one? I am about ready to get the SG 12.5 air shock for my bob. BTW If you run 0 psi, does it mean you are riding on the spring only? I try to get an idea how it works lol, call me a fool.

Much better ride and cheap if you get the 13" take offs - as a bonus you get better cornering clearance.
I have the 12" air shocks on mine and routinely run 50lbs in them. I even did 60lbs for awhile I liked the ride but I was afraid I'd blow the seals, it seems to me like the more air you put in them the better the ride especially 2 up.So what I'm sayin is if your not liking the ride as is add more air first. If you don't mind the extra hieght the full size Electraglide shocks are the way to go.

You run that much air solo? I do agree that when I've set the pressure for a passenger and then rode solo with the same pressure it amazes me that the ride doesn't suck.
....but i still think im going to go from the 5wt to 20wt oil over the winter and see
how that rides next spring.
I think I'm going to try that also. Since I know that my shocks never lost any oil, I'm going to make a real effort to drain all the oil out of them to determine how much each takes. I'll report my findings here.
I'd appreciate that I might want to try that as well if I knew what kind of oil and how much it'd be a pretty simple project to change it up.Not sure I'd go from 5 to 20 right off the bat though.I went to 15 wt in my forks with the full length progressive springs and it made a huge improvement.

Sorry, was that in reply to my post?
Found a set on ebay (exactly as per your part number 54565-09), just curious if when running on minimal air in the shocks it gives a slammed look?

No, but they will compress when there's enough weight on them (2up) but then the ride suffers, they are still a 13" shock so I doubt they are ever going to look
"slammed" and if they did you'd have no suspension. IMO, you can look cool or have a good ride - which one do you want?
