Hello all, my first post, looks like some good help on this forum.
I'm looking for some help on an exhaust swap on my 05 Dyna Wide Glide. I purchased the SE Pro Tunable 2 into 1 Exhaust System, #80091-03. My 05 SE parts catalog lists these as for 95 and later Dyna’s (except 03-later FXDWG). The 06 SE catalog makes no mention of these not fitting the FXDWGs. Anyone know if these will or won’t fit and if not, why not? Also, will the disks from the Supertrapp exhaust system fit this system? I’m guessing that Supertrapp made these for Harley!! I have most of the parts (cylinders, pistons, cams, PC III) to take it to a 95 CID this winter, didn’t want to install these until I had all the other parts are on and together.
Thanks
Welcome to the forum. You might want to locate Shovelhead Bob and PM him your question. He is a very expereinced HD wrench and will know if that exhaust will fit. If he doesn't know he will find out. Basically the guy knows just about everything on HD's. But my guess is that if the catalog says no........it won't. (usually a fastener location change). Good luck.

I too have the SE 2-1, and yes, mine was made by SuperTrapp. The disks are interchangeable. Consider getting the "open end-cap" if you want to make these pipes louder. If you do, you'll need to reduce the number of disks to compensate for the reduced back-pressure the open end-cap provides. The SuperTrapp website has good info on all of this. I think I'm running eight disks. You also might want to get the bike dyno tuned to get the most from these pipes.
