Can somebody with some progressive knowledge tell me if these shocks will work on my bike, 08 fxdb? they're Progressive 440s 11", currently on an fxlr, part number is 440-4005B. I really appreciate the help!
Also, looking for opinions about whether or not 11" is too short. I do load up some gear and travel on the bike from time to time too... stock street bob shocks are 12", right?
Progressive's website does not list an 11" 440 for a 2008 FXDB. The closest is part # 440-4052, which is 11.5" standard spring (it is also offered in a heavy duty version). Click here, then select your year/make/model to see what fits your bike. That's not to say the 440-4005's will not fit your bike, but apparently the manufacturer does not list them as fitting.

I would use the 11.5 inchers as well. Thats as low as I would go. Yes 12 inchers are stock on your scooter.
