My experience couldn't be more different. I have a G and after it was tuned on the dyno, haven't needed to touch it at all in over 3 years, regardless of the season.

Currently running a 45 Mik & I will never have another S&S carb. Do what ya like, yea I know the Mik is not made in USA but I did try for 3 seasons. Every time I would get the G dialed in the weather here would change & then it would need another adjustment, no more for me.
If you can't tune a Mikuni then you can't tune period...
