Default Winter Came Early In Missouri

Well I went on a 2000 mile run on my bike, Southern Mo, Memphis, SW Arkansas. It was a great run lots of 10 hour days, great ride. The ride home I did aroun 8 hours in the pouring down rain. when I got home I really didn't feel like looking at my bike. A few phone calls later I found out there was no wait for me at Paint Shop, RWD, DEWEYS, or C&C. I figured what the hell, I hate waiting anyway. the bike will be back together by halloween. I'll post finished pictures then! Here's a couple of my favorite pictures from the trip......
Ha Ha Tonka state park, nice place

Mammoth Springs in Ark

Some look out in Arkansas

dusk on the mountian

and may favorite kinda road signs, these were EVERY WHERE In NW ARKANSAS

lastly here is how my bike was loaded, them saddle bags sure are handy!!

Any way I learned a few things on the trip,
first of fat front tire and skinny fender dont mix, second its time for motor work, so I contacted RWD and gave them some deminsions. 7 days later I have the fender in my hand! 7 days for a custom one off fender....pretty good in my book, I went for a simple design....they don't show this fender, but it works great with 1/2 spacers....The spacers I had loner industries make me some that match the curve of the sliders already. blend perfect. The whole bike will be painted semi gloss black with new embloms, new grips and quick release for the bags....
second I wanted more Power, I had the 54h cams, the 30t pulley, clutch spring, se compensator, and all your other ****. I contacted don dorfman and got a list together. 103" KB pistons, comp release, street port heads, found a killer deal on a brand new rinehart 2 into 1. All in All Don and i are hoping for 100-105 hp and 105-110 tq. we will see when dyno comes. heres a picture of the fender and the bike torn down...

The last thing I wanted was a GOOD seat, Comfort, Style, Comfort. I have been through a bunch of them and decided to contact C&C. I had several phone calls with Chuck and Chuy. Great Guys, Really listend and helped me put together a great seat. They sent me some pictures of the build, I also want to say I talked to them thursday morning. I called back on friday, gave them payment info and withen 5 hours I had pictures, I should have the seat mid next week. Its a Square back, moved the riders position back 1.5" and widend the seat to 15" from 12". You can see the gel, it will be covered in leather. I cant wait for it.

Man thats a great ride you had. I live in NW Arkansas and is some of the best riding and a lot of crooked and steep. Your going to have a new bike after all those mods, Will be more power and comfy. Should take that same ride when your done and compare the 2.
