I have an '09 Fatbob. Everything was fine the last time it was ridden. Now, it won't start. Cranks, but won't start.
DTC - I get fault codes P0261 Front Injector open/low, P0263 Rear injector open/low, P1003 System relay contacts open.
I have no idea what this means, what they should be, or how to fix this. Also, I don't hear the fuel pump noise I usually do when I switch on the ign/run.
I would really hate to have to arrange to trailer the bike to the dealer and pay a big service bill for something I may be able to fix myself with a little help. So, any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks,
Linz
I searched and found some info from others who had this problem. Stuck starter relay in system relay..could hear fuel pump kick in so I'm guessing relay is the problem. P/U new one tomorrow. Thanks. Shoulda searched first but I was in panick mode.

If not the system relay, could be the starter relay. They are the black (starter) and the grey (system) plastic boxes plugged into your fuse box. I had the EXACT same problem a week ago. No whine from the fuel pump when I turned the power on, and the bike just cranked. I replaced the relays (cost me $8 each) and took about 1 minute of time. I did the system relay first and it didn't make a difference, as soon as I replaced the starter relay I was off and riding!
