Tmax crapped out
After an elect surge caused by a battery cable, my $970 doller thundermax is junk!!!!!
Zippers wants $190 to exchange it...( SO WARRENTY COVERS WHAT?). $1000 doller tuner Toast from an elect surge??? Ive had the Tmax for 4 months....And had a few probs with it already, Now this... So pissed off i am thinking of changing tuners.....

How many problems have you had with yours Shull???
Ive had several, my problem is that ANY elect issues will Void a warrenty?
If i had not been trying to diagnose the problem for a week, and just called them and said it was not working right, they would have repaired it under warrenty!!!
Would a factory computer with a SERT shut down?
Im pissed, YOU TELL ME TO QUIT BITCHEN?

how come the cable caused the electrical surge?

Can you be more specific about this electrical surge? If you have an electric problem that fried your ECM you need to fix the problem before replacing the ECM with anything.

Pha...are you sure it didn't just blow the fuse? If I remember correctly, there is a fuse specific for the ECM. My guess is the Tmat runs off that same fuse.
There is a fuse diagram inside the electrical panel cover. Refer to it as I don't remember the exact location of that fuse.
