anyone ever use the TECHLUSION (DOBECK) tuner on their bike? and if so how do you like it. part # FI1040ST. I have the FUALPAK on my other bike and it works o.k. but I am thinking about giving the TECHLUSION a shot.
I haven't personally used there tuner but I know that they know there stuff. I have talked with them in person on the phone a couple of times. They are out of Belgrade , MT and are the original owners of the Dyno Jet Company.
I used the Techlusion for a couple of years ... until I found a ThunderMax w/ AutoTune (TMAT) someone on the forum was selling second hand cheap ....
The one I was using was a three-way adjustable 'piggy back' unit that added fuel to the amount dictated by the stock ECM program ... had the desired effect and richened the AFRs ... I never had it professionally tuned ... just tuned it 'by ear' my own self ....
I think I paid less than $160 (discounted price) and got a screamin' deal on the TMAT as well ... I am much more pleased with the TMAT but of course it is a much more capable unit ....
As part of a mild street setup with a stage I (swap Air Cleaner and Exhaust) it is a satisfactory solution IMHO ... good luck ....
