Default Snow in CT

Had plans to do some riding yesterday. Ruined thanks to an October Snow storm in New England.

Just venting. Hope it melts quick so I can get out later this week.

I live in the waterbury area. We lost power 2 days ago under 2 feet of wet snow. No power equals no heat, no shower, no food. How is my tender going to keep my battery at top preformance without electricity.

Used to live in CT, then NC, now NM. Winter and snow suck..Talked to the bother-inlaw yesterday in CT, he says worse than ice storm of the 70's which was really bad. No power, phones, gas stations closed...
I told him it was 75 degrees and sunny here and I was going for a ride......just couldn't help myself

Just got back from Sherman in western CT yesterday, well over a foot, roads looked like a tornado had come through, nothing but trees and wires, single lane with debris all over the place, got to my house in a 4x4 and drained all the water out, shut off pump, etc. But at least I have a video of my last ride up there !!!

I miss southern new mexico. if your ever in the old missilla area LA POSTA is a must for mex. food. Snow tomorrow in Montana and starting friday or saturday its on for the winter (grumble grumble). Good luck to all who have no power or are experiencing difficulty from the winter NE storm. If my life wasn't here id head south for sure.

Worst part is the highway crews laid down salt and sand. Ruins it for quite a while.
At least we still have power here in Voluntown,CT.

+1 that pretty much does it unless you want to go 15 MPH around every little corner.
