Just a heads up for anyone looking for a small scissors jack. Grizzly tool company has one for $3.95 (item number G8723). Shipping will likely be more than the jack, but it is a good price on a 2000lb jack.
I have used mine for holding the front of the engine up when I have changed the front engine mount and it works great for that.

 

not bad but if you have a u-pull it in your area they usually charge about $5
for that same jack
