New Brake Pads vs. Stock
I’m not particularly the most avid performance mod guy, but I have to report that I am very impressed with the improvement to my braking with aftermarket brake pads vs. the stock pads. My stock pads finally wore out at around 33k miles and I replaced the fronts first with EBC Double-H Sintered pads then before a trip recently replaced the rears with Lyndal Racing Z-Plus Rear Brake Pads. Wow!
They didn’t have the EBC for the rear and I almost wish I had spent the few extra bucks for the Lyndal pads on the front too. I had no idea they could make so much difference in braking. The EBC pads are an improvement over stock as well.
I just got back from a trip and I ripped up Arkansas from bottom to top = 1,600 miles worth in all. The new pads made it all that much more fun!
Poor video quality transfer to Youtube, but you get the idea;

I’m no speed demon, but the new pads made the riding far more enjoyable even for me
