Hi everybody. New to the forum but a frequent lurker. I have a 2009 FXDC. Looking for advice on a 2 up seat. Im 6'1" and have a stock solo seat now. Im looking for a 2 up that might move me up and back a hair but still be mostly comfy and good looking. Not riding hundreds of miles in a day and dont have a passenger that i care about comfort. Kinda just using it to secure throw over saddlebags. Looking at sidekick and a couple of DG and corbin. Just looking for a little feedback from people who might have some of these..Thanks in advance
Excellent comfort, I can ride all day with no discomfort. My wife is happy with it's comfort and I think it look pretty good on the bike. I am 6' even and it did give me about an extra inch of leg stretch. I also switch to forward controls which put the pegs at the perfect spot for me.
Bought my bike used, also a 09 FXDC, and it came with the Sundowner. Pretty nice and they are reasonable.
+1. I have used the sundowner on several of the harleys I have owned, including the current FXDC, and for the money, it gives good 2 up comfort and day long riding opportunity.

I bought the Mustang seats, too. However mine are the wides and the front and rear are separate. I can run the solo seat most of the time and in a minute bolt on the passenger seat behind it. Being wider seats, we can ride all day in comfort. My seat is 16.5" wide and hers is 12.5" wide. I just dig the looks of wide tanks and wide solo seats, so I have what I want, but can instantly add a passenger.
i have a stock lowrider seat for my two up riding, i feel like im pushed forward more and a little bit upwards. i imagine most two up seats will push the rider forward a bit to give the passenger a bit more room... so just a heads up here.
but you can get stock two up seats pretty cheap on here or ebay... i paid 70 bucks (to my door) for my stock lowrider in perfect condition (ebay)...
Check out C&C. They can custom tailor where you want to sit. Their seats that come stock move you down and back. I sell them as well at a discount and they do not cost an arm and a let. Great pricing, great seats. I run their solo and love it.
