switchback vs. FXDC shocks

Default switchback vs. FXDC shocks
Are the switchback shocks shorter than those on the FXDC? I like the covered look and supposedly they have a better ride(?)

nope dont think so, buy some progressive hd 412's with the covers in the length you want..

The Switchback has 2.1" of play in the rear. The 2012 Super Glide has 3.1" of play in the rear. The SB shocks are nitrogen-charged. I have never rode a SB but I have a 2011 Super Glide and love the ride.
