I searched for this exact topic but haven't been able to find much, so I figured I'd ask.
I'm considering putting 13 inch progressive shocks on my 2011 Wide Glide (stock is 12 inch I think) and was wondering if anyone else has done this and what their experience was? Did any adjustments need to be made to the front end? And did it increase the lean clearance at all?
Thank you sir! I clearly need to hone my hdforums searching skills.
Look's like some 13' Progressive 444's are on my to buy list.
We all start somewhere, anyway just be careful with Progressive shocks, their Heavy duty shocks are hard as nails, and raising the ride on hard shocks well basically all the travel you are trying to get will be lost.

Hmm alright. I'm a pretty heavy rider, 285 pounds, and my gf who is 130 pounds rides with me often. For that reason I was thinking the Heavy Duty shocks would be appropriate. What do you think?
Well if you do not want to break your GF,s back stear clear of the heavy duty, progressive are Chinese made stocks, if you have the cash get some shocks that are dialled into your weight correctly, loads about this in the forum.
