I have taken the fatbob for a testride... and it was awsome. I really liked it. But I think you have to do too much to change it to make it more like the FXDX.
On the FXDX I like the narrow front end, the gauges on the bars, the handlebars, the mid footcontrols, and the suspension. Whit the new dyna engine, a bike like a new factory made FXDX would be awsome... I think!
I got the original '99 FXDX when it came out. That year didn't have the twiddles to the suspension nor the upgrade to the brake calipers but I still have the bike and I'll never sell it. Catches a lot of "quicker" bikes out. Best Twin Cam ever.
I'd love it if they brought it out again with the original looks but with the new chassis and brakes and with a 120R. I'd go and buy one of them too.
