dyna single cap tank question??
i just bought a 1998 dyna fxdl and am in need of a tank as the bike was a rebuild i am working on.i need some help with tank fitment it has the single cap and gauge in the center of the tank.. are all these type tanks the same??
they look to be. but then again i am new to this type tank and know very little about it! i am looking at a tank from a 2002 dyna superglide which is also a carb tank as well. will this tank work for me?? ...any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

If an 03 tank will bolt up, so will later tanks, only difference is the console and gauge setup, the mounts are the same for the tank itself. Also does not matter if it is an EFI tank or carb, just change petcock and guts.
I did this last winter. Easy swap, but some of the parts are tricky to track down like the gauge console bracket
