I just received my PC V that I bought used off a forum member. The install instructions are not very instructional on the exact steps and order of install. I have received an email from Fuel Moto with a correct map for my bike. Thank you Fuel Moto.
I have loaded the software on my computer and made sure the map is in the "Maps" folder.
Connected the PC V to my computer with the USB cord, opened software and Opened Map with the one I want to load. Then Send Map to the PC V.
Now I think it is time to connect PC V to bike. Correct?
Any other steps I need to do? The PC V came with a couple plugs that I believe are O2 eliminators, but not sure if I need them or not.
Also not sure about the other calibration items, Throttle Position, Speed and Gear position, Engine Temp, Harley ECM data, and several other calibrations in that section.
Any suggestions how I go about getting the most out of this tuner?
The installation instructions are on FuelMoto's web site. Whe you go on their site click on powercommander then on PC V. Then you click on Harley Davidson. Scan down and you will see the link for the instructions.
Prior to installation, download the canned map for your setup from your computer to PCV, I found this video useful when I installed mine, it is for V+H fuelpack but similar idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2BuOPw_rHc
