My Rush baffles are 3 yrs. old an making a blown-out noise. Will any harm be done until I replace them? Thx...

 

I would say no. Maybe just your and others ears.
I'm pulling my Rush slip-ons off today, They area a year old and still sound great with 1.75 baffells. Thinking of selling them for dirt cheap.
Paid near $300.00 for them last year. I paid too much. we all do.
It was a toss up to change baffells to 2 inch or replace the whole system, well the whole system is getting changed.

Do you mean blown out noise as in getting louder?
Your fiberglass packing is probally burnt up,I just pulled my baffles and threw the packing away,did'nt hurt a thing-You just have to bend the tabs out on the baffle a little,so they fit tight inside the muffler,otherwise they will rattle.

 

Can you please explain what blown-out noise means? If you are referring to the baffle matting I can send out a free replacement.

Burnt or torn. Other one sounds smooth far zs I can tell.
If I replace one, should I not replace the other also?
