The speedo mount is by Drag Specialties DS-373864 for a single 3 1/2 speedo. My speedo didn't quite fit, but I dremeled out the sides of the mount just a hair and it fit perfectly. It mounts to 1 1/4" risers (the beefy ones compared to stock). Here is an updated pic, I added a water proof groumet around the idiot light panel and it really cleaned it up even more.

That looks killer! I am really curious about the actual process you went about to cut the hole and mount this. Also, is this just the stock FXD idiot lights that you moved or did you get a different unit?
Looks great, I might steal this idea someday!

I just used a riser/speedo set-up off of a 2006 sporty. ordered a light harness from Harley. wired it all up and threw it all together with a set of drag bars

I made a template out of masking tape from the stock housing. I layed the tape over the stock mount and cut it to fit the opening. I then carefully placed a dot in the center of each opening for each light and mounts (drill points). I placed the tape on the console (after removing from bike) and carefully drilled the holes. Under the console, there is a gap between the gas gauge and the filler neck that is the perfect for the stock lights to fit in. I lenghtened the wires, mounted the lights under the console and the bracket on top. I used a ruber o-ring as a waterproof groumet. Love the way it looks now.

I know this is a old thread, but what is the easiest way to lengthen the harness? I'm doing something similar but mounting the speedo near horn. However there is a wire that connects to both indicator lights and speedo. How did you split that wore to go to both at such a distance?
