I forget how big I went for the 16's. I didn't need to extend any electrical wires though. I made a thread with pictures in it. HD has the lengths in one of their books. Call your dealer. They will get you the perfect length. That's what I did and it's great.

Hd. I used burly cable kits on my iron and my fatboy and the cables are ****. The HD cables are great. Smooth and everything fits how it should.

Have you ever done cables before?

VH bigshots. The cable process really isn't difficult. The hardest part is getting the retaining ring out of the trans cover to put the new clutch cable on. if I were you I would take the throttle and clutch housings off separate the brake and clutch from the control housings, run your wires through the bars. I've been told the little clips fit without removing the connectors. Depends on the size of the holes in the bars. I drilled my own so I had to take the clips off which is tedious but not too hard. I'm also not running any front signals, so it's a little easier for me. Get the wires run through and mount the bars. See how much longer you need to go on everything. You may not need any new cables or you may just need one. And if you do need one remember to account that the cable will pull when the bars are turned in the opposite direction.

Hope my chatter helps. Lol
