I'm sure it does but if you keep your bike in the garage it won't work. There is no light in my garage except for when the door it up. If you have a window I suppose that would work but I'm not sure how much light they need. Direct sun light?

I have a window right next to the bike was going to mount the panel outside and run leads through window.

I have been using one for 2 years now. My Garage is 3 blocks away with no electric. I use to do some work on Boats and installed a few on them for some people.

I mounted my panel on the roof where it would get max exposure but also be protected. It won't charge but does maintain up to the few months at a time as I do get a ride in every now and then like maybe today I hope.

Make sure that the Solar Panel uses diodes. When the sun goes down a solar panel will actually consume power. That said, I had a place up in the mountains with an automatic electric gate where the driveway came to the street. The gate opener used a motorcycle battery and a 1 ft square solar panel to keep it charged. Over 5 years with no problems and the battery that was in it, was there when I bought the place, and was still there working just fine when I sold it. So I have no idea how old it was, but it always worked just fine. Then again, running the pump for a hydraulic ram, even on a 4' X 12' Steel Gate, isn't quite the same thing as cranking an engine over.
