Tough crowd; Gloating threads are always hit or miss It's a cool bike, glad you dig it and congrats.
sorry if it sounds like gloating, it's hard to bring true attitude off on the internet but what im getting at is i believe i have finally found the bike i am going to stick with, the FLD is everything i couldnt find in the bikes before it... the ride handling and just overall comfort level is way above what i had before it and definitely something i can see riding for years to come
and NO i personally dont believe i took a major loss.
as an example for just the last 2 bikes
i paid $13,800 for my wideglide and traded it in after 6 months for $12777 and that was with me removing everything i wanted to keep.
i paid $8000 straight up for my nightster, it was a left over demo with forwards and the black diamond collection already installed and i traded it in for the wideglide at $8300 after just over a year of enjoying it and got to remove what i wanted off of that too.

It's all good. Most of the threads on this forum or any other forum have at least some gloating going on. It's a little like a virtual garage in that respect. Except we're not standing around drinking PBR's and looking at your new bike in person.

Reason: Grammer Nazi
Jost like Perry and Mrnone have said I too can relate, I just love mine. Someone told me that mine was way too RED. Sooooooo... BUT I like it
til now, all three new bikes I've bought over the years have been black, 4 of the eight Harleys i've owned have been black.. When i purchased this one I was told. Its the wrong color for me, I should be on a black one.. lol
red is my favorite color, and the second other color of my bikes..
