Thumbs up Another FLD Dyno Read Out

Dyno results FLD

Vance & Hines Slip-On V&H Product ID: 16801
1010-0181 Big Sucker STG1
32109-08-B SE Super Tuner kit
29153-07 HD Smooth Air Cleaner Cover

Dyno results:

HP……… before 66.5 after 78.7

Torque … before 85.9 after 96.7

Temperature was under 40 when I gave it a short test ride.
Never got out of town or 3rd gear. I couldn’t feel my fingers
but I sure could feel the difference in how it pulled off the line.

I can’t wait to give it a true test in warmer weather.

The bike ran great and went fast enough before spending all that.
However the money feels better on the bike than in my pocket.

Bike looks good minus the bags. You have to be happy with the extra power. Were are you from. I see your in the Mid-west. Most everyone has put they bikes up for the around here.

Nothing like some extra power to get you moving! I'm surprised though with the 103" in these bikes, that's basically what I put out with a stage one on my 96". I think a set of good cams will really make it shine.

mrnone,
Maybe April absolutely must wait for a few good rains to wash all the salt off the roads.
How did the shock goodies work out?

Red devil
Cecharles did the cam thing to his FLD and your right, it will knock your socks off.

jamman,
Yep,I had the exact same air cleaner cover on my last two rides.

Yup, those are some good numbers there and I'm glad you're liking how it runs. Unless we have some serious warm ups, it'll be April before we can get out and ride fairly comfortably. I've been wanting to go out for a cold ride but we keep getting an annoying 1" of snow the night before and no sun the next day so unless I want to chance laying down my bike in the driveway or worse yet, on some black ice, I think I'll be patient. I'm still holding out and hoping for some snow melting sun soon though.

Cecharles
Well we got our first snow this morning, it should be
back up in the 40’s the rest of the week so if I get the
bike back maybe a short test ride with the stock risers
back on.

However if they salt the roads it’s no more rides,
until the rains wash it away in maybe in April.

Finally made it out and to my surprise, my wife wanted to go for a ride too. She's more of a warm weather ride type but it was a fairly short 20 mile ride and it was great to get out. Not too often we get weather like this in December so we gotta take it when we can get it. Was around 47 degrees but windy, still beautiful.

Yep they just put salt down at the intersections so I won’t be riding
until a few good rains wash it away come spring. 200 miles south.
